Just another WordPress.com weblog

I made this bread from KA flour today, and it was really good. It took a lot of planning to get it to finish at the same time the rest of my meal, but I made it work. I split the loaf into 5 pieces instead of 2 or 4, and they were huge pieces! We added sprinkles of garlic powder to the sharp cheddar cheese layer. This bread was pretty easy, thanks to the step by step instructions and pictures. They didn’t brown as much as in the pictures, because of our silly little oven at home. I turned on the broiler for a minute or two so they would get browner. When looking at the pictures of the cut loaf, I noticed that my loaves did not have many holes in them, but the baker’s loaves did. Hmm. Oh well, they were still really good!
