Omg yummm! I actually didn’t even need the pasta. I’d much rather dunk a nice piece of homemade focaccia in the soup instead. I used a lot less Italian sausage, because I wanted to use the real thing versus a turkey sausage. I had to use dried basil in the soup and pesto in the (homemade) ricotta topping. I also used a mix of beef stock and chicken stock.
