Ad hoc beef stroganoff

I used my leftover Smitten Kitchen braised beef short ribs to make another amazing meal! The recipe says to not cook the ribs to the shredding point, but that’s how I like them. I made the mushroom cream sauce and strained and mixed that with the leftover braising liquid. I used fresh linguine from Central Market. I found a recipe to make creme fraiche, but I completely forgot about making it until it was too late. So I left that out. And I only used a splash or so of cream.
